On July 27, 2024, the Ho Chi Minh City Food Nutrition Association organized the 12th expanded Ho Chi Minh City Nutrition Conference with the topic: “Nutrition in digestive diseases”. The main goal of the conference is to bring the most updated knowledge and effective scientific experiences to all delegates from all parts of the country. The conference is also an opportunity to share experiences, exchange, connect and expand cooperation in the fields of nutrition, diet and food to improve health, prevent and effectively treat diseases related to nutrition.
The conference includes 5 scientific sessions with reports, presentations, discussions and networking sessions. Challenges and advances in the prevention and treatment of digestive diseases; multi-specialty coordination in the treatment and prevention of digestive diseases in children and adults was mentioned in 14 official reports at the Conference.

Opening of the Conference, Vo Hong Minh Cong, MD. PhD. – Deputy Director of Gia Dinh People’s Hospital gave a report “Disease models and advances in the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases”.
