On August 24, 2020, The Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 2250 / QD-BCT announcing the List of “Reputable exporters” in 2019. The list of “reputable exporters” with 268 enterprises was synthesized and announced on the basis of selection and proposal of 55 agencies and organizations including ministries, industries, commodity associations, provincial Department of Industry and Trade.
Otsuka Pharmaceutical Vietnam JSC is one of six pharmaceutical and medical equipment enterprises announced by the Ministry of Industry and Trade as a “prestigious exporter” in 2019 by proposal of the Drug Administration of Vietnam.
Otsuka Vietnam was established in 2003 and has been manufacturing and supplying basic and amino acid infusion solution for the domestic market since 2005. In 2011, Otsuka Vietnam started exporting amino acid infusion solution for liver patients to the Philippines market. After that, the company has expanded the exportation of basic and amino acid infusion solution to Cambodia and Thailand since 2012. Currently, Otsuka Vietnam has built a new factory in the Amata Industrial Park, Bien Hoa, Dong Nai province with a larger scale and modern production lines meeting Japanese GMP standard. The company is also planning to export to other markets in the coming years.
Decision No. 2250 / QD-BCT dated August 24, 2020 and the official list of “reputable exporters” in 2019 are being posted on the web portal of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (www.moit.gov.vn) and websites of relevant agencies.
